    EXAMPLE:

“We support the Sustainable Development Goals and have made a contribution to SDG target 4.1 by funding the SoGreen project ‘YEAR 1‘, ensuring secondary education of 100 girls in the ‘X’ province in Zambia. The progress is monitored and verified by ‘Z’.

This is a measurable impact to ensure girls and boys complete free, equitable and quality primary and secondary education leading to relevant and effective learning outcomes”

(‘X’ and ‘Y’ will be provided by SoGreen as well as relevant project names)

The benefits of education go way beyond climate impact

Educating girls has a tremendous impact. Babies are born healthier as educated mothers have lower rates of infant and maternal mortality and child marriage rates decline. Girls’ education strengthens economies and reduces inequalities as educated women have higher salaries (Obama foundation) and poverty goes down as resilient societies give all individuals - including boys and men - the opportunity to fulfil their potential (UNICEF). First and foremost, ensuring that all girls and young women receive education is their human right. Girls' education is about ensuring that girls gain socio-emotional and life skills necessary to navigate and adapt to a changing world; make decisions about their own lives; and contribute to their communities and the world (World Bank).
